It is official, at the fifth Competition day of the 2007 PWA Lanzarote Worldcup Gollito won also Double elimination number three and became the clear winner. Also Sara Quita managed to win again and with two Double Eliminations against one of Daida Moreno Quita is the winner of the women fleet. |

Many words have been used for Sailors like youngster Estredo : Dominator, Terminator and many more... but indeed the venzuelan dominated the whole Competition and safely won all three Double eliminations. The first big step to defend his title as Worldchampio is done. Sara Quita has made a big Step towards her first title by beating Daida Moreno. Swiss Laure Treboux finished on third position and surely it was not the Competition of Yoli de Brendt, she never really got in a Heat as she does in Freesailing where she spread some fear with her great performance... Kiri Thode was not able in five Heats to beat Gollito Estredo at least once and finished on second Place. Both youngsters dominated the fleet and already in the first rounds it always became clear who will be the finalists... The next Freestyle will take place at Sotavento Beach at Fuerteventura end of July, right after the Gran Canaria Worldcup where only women will compete in Freestyle besides Waves.... |
