The Competition is over. With only one windy day and so one Double Elimination finished, Marcilio Browne from Brasil got his first PWA Title by winning the 2007 PWA Fuerteventura Freestyle Worldcup, with Kiri Thode from Bonaire in second position and Thomas Traversa in third. Kiri Thode is the new Leader of the overall Rankings. Bad for current Worldchampion Gollito Estredo, he dominated Lanzarote by winning three Double Eliminations and with only one bad Heat he lost three positions in the overall Rankings. He got seventh at Fuerteventura.
The ladies crowned their new.. and former Worldchampion, Daida Ruano Moreno. Her 14th Worldtitle. She was able to hold Sara Quita from Aruba and Laure Treboux down and defend her Freestyle Title, while also in Waves it all seems that she´s heading towards the next crown. For the Men there is one more Freestyle Competition to come, at Sylt in Germany end of Septembre...... |
