Day number three at Costa Teguise started with grey skies, and pretty low windspeeds, so evem with a late Skippersmeeting at one o´clock, the first Heats of the second Single Elimination had to be postponed until three in the afternoon. The first round started with still low and gusty winds and the Judges decided to go down with the number of maximum Moves to five and three Moves to count. After round one the Level increased with the Heatnumber and so did the wind. The first exciting Heat of the day was the Duel between the Frans brothers Taty and Tonky and Jakub Kosmovski verses Kiri Thode. In the last days Tonky Frans was one of the strongest Sailors, but with less wind and bigger Sails it became a Taty Show, with Gozada Clocks, ShoveIt Spocks and all his high technical Moves which made him famous in the past years. He advanced over Tonky who seemed to be pretty sad about loosing also his good position after the first Double Elimination. Really on fire today the two german Sailors, Andre Paskowski, who kicked out Andy Chambers and than Worldchampion Marcilio Browne, with pretty solid Heats, nice Combinations and perfect Chachoos. The first surprise of the day. For second Normen Günzlein became responsable. After a great Heat against Ricardo Campello, the Judges had missed a high scoring Move from Günzlein and the two had to resail this Heat. The german used this chance and with Burners, Spock Culos, Shove It Spocks he sent Campello to the Beach and advanced into the Semi Final. Waiting there were Gollito Estredo and Kiri Thode and they should stopp the fourious run of the two blond germans. Once again it came to another Thode Estredo Final, like so many times before, but this should become one the worst Heats between the two Caribbeans. In the End the one who had three better Moves per leg and less Crashes was announced the winner. With a big Backloop and a huge Shaka and some Combinations but more shaky than usual Gollito Estredo himself was surprised when he was announced winner, Thode also had some Hardcore Moves but some when the maximum Moves had been reached already. Normen Günzlein won the small Final against Paskowski and both went straight to the Windsurf Paradise Bar to watch the Semifinal at the European Championchips between Germany and Turkey, to see if the german Team could be as successful as they had been on the water.

The first Ladies Heat saw a really tight one between the two Fanatic Ladies Laure Treboux and Yoli de Brendt. For Yoli her Shaka, Eslider and Spock was not enough against Spock, Clew First Spock and Flaka from Treboux. Swiss Treboux, who seemed a bit nervous before this Heat, now sailed free and kicked out Daida Moreno as well to face once again Sara Quita in the final, where the young Quita again proofed that she might be unbeatable this Season, with her whole variety of Switch and normal Moves with lots of Power and super save. Tomorrow in the Double Elimination the whole Story will get more exciting again, when all loosers from today will try to fight their way up the ladder.
