Showdown at Costa Teguise in Lanzarote. Last day of the Freestyle Worldcup and if the wind would be the stronger than the forecast predicted it could become another exciting day, before the Riders leave this beautiful Island for their next Events at Gran Canaria, Fuerteventura or for the European Freestyle Tour. Meeting Brawzinho in the Cyber Cafe he still looked highly motivated for the Loosersround and to take also his last chance for a win, even if the way up to first place would be a really tough one. Sara Quita instead could already celebrate her Event win and without being a Wizzard, I would say that she´s made a huge step to her first Worldtitle already. While Brawzinho was hoping for perdect Conditions, guys like Paskowski, Günzlein and Estredo would be satisfied with a no wind day, they would keep their actual Rankings. We all woke up at a hot morning at Costa Teguise and no wind at all. So the Chances of a Loosersround were close to zero and at two o´clock the Headjudges Duncan Combs called the Competition off and so Estredo won also his second Competition in 2008 and is on the best way to get his Worldtitle from 2006 back from brazilian Brawzinho and also Paskowski with a sixth and Günzlein with his fifth Place could be more than happy. Sara Quita had already won this Contest after finishing the second Double Elimination two days ago and also she is on the best way to her first worldtitle. Already next week at Gran Canaria in Pozo the girls can proof their skills once again at the next PWA Worldcup. Also the men will get their next Wave and Slalom Event their and it might become another unbelievable one. Not only in Freestyle the Level has reached a new Level. There´s a lot of rumors about new Jumps especially in Pozo. We will see and report !!!
