Samba at Sotavento, Brawzinho day at the third day of the 2008 PWA Fuerteventura Freestyle Worldcup. The Brasilian managed to win over a super strong sailing Gollito Estredo in the Single Elimination Final with one of the closest decisions ever. Also Sara Quita could win again, this time over Daida Moreno and Yoli de Brendt in third. If Estredo, Campello, Moreno and de Brendt wouldn´t manage to fight back in the Double Elimination, Quita and Browne could claim the Event victory already after two Double Eliminations. The day became a really long one. With finishing the Single Elimination and a full Double Elimination. In the Loosersround especially Marten van Ochten and Quincy Offringa ended up with a happy finish, both went up the ladder up to Place 9. Offringa even managed to kick out Andre Paskowski. But the end came for Offringa against Taty Frans. Frans really was firing Moves like big Airchachoos, Switch Ponch, Double Spocks, Gozada Cana Bravas and Burners. He also won against Kiri Thode, but after some small problems in the judging the Heat had to be resailed and this time Frans was off the roll, lost his routine and so his Heat. Thode advanced and so also over Antxon Otaegui, before he had to go back to the Beach after his Heat against Tonky Frans. Tonky with big Pushloop and Loop, Burner, Shove It Spock and sick Spock Combinations left no doubt who was the winner in this Heat. But also for Frans the Elimination was over after the next Heat against Campello. Campello performed only highest scoring Moves in perfect Style to advance also over Gollito Estredo who showed full planning Airchchachoo and Clew First Ponch, Burner one hand, switch Ponch one hand and Burner into Flaka. It was just not Estredo´s day. He lost also this Heat in a more than close decision. Double Elimination Final once again was Browne vs Campello and again Campello with another perfect Heat forced Brawzinho into a second Final, where Campello couldn´t perform that well while Brawzinho moved himself into Airflakas, Airflaka Cana Brava, and no hand Airflaka. Brawzinho won this Final also in a super close decision and so the Event. In the women fleet Laure Treboux found her way back, by winning over Nayra Alonso, Junko Nagoshi and Yoli de Brendt, before she got stopped by Daida Moreno. Showdwon for the Final between actual Worldchamp Moreno and new Worldchampion Sara Quita and it became a really clear Final, won by Sara Quita performing her Punetas, Funnels, Switch Chachoo, Airflaka and co. in perfect Style. Congratulations Sara for your first World Title !!!!
