Two Double Eliminations already finished and Sara Quita and Marcilio Browne already safe Winners at the 2008 PWA Fuerteventura didn´t make the start of the third Elimination less exciting, two many Riders were still able to fight for the Podium or Top Places. Really Important day for Gollito Estredo, with a win of this Double Elimination and a second place at this Event, he would make another big big step towards his second Worldtitle. And he was on fire. Already in his first Heats he performed unbeatable by anyone. Sick Airchachoos, Clew First Ponches, Double Moves, like Switch Chachoo into Puneta, Burner Cana Brava, Mega Shakas and Airflakas gave him a really fastr decision by the Judges in every single Heat, even in the Semifinal against Ricardo Campello, who has beaten Estredo already twice in this Competition. Also on fire Tonky Frans, with a big big variation of Moves, most of them performed some metres over the surface made also him advance into the Semifinal, where he lost in a really really close decision against Event winner Marcilio Browne. Showdown, Worldchampion of 2006 against Worldchampion of 2007, Estredo vs Browne. In the previous days Estredo´s hurt foot didn´t let him perform good enough to beat the brasilian. Today he seemed painless : The best Airchachoo in the entire Competition, followed by a full planning clew first Ponch, Burner one hand, Switch Chachoo into Puneta, sick Airflaka, Ponch into Flaka, Burner into Flaka, Double Spock, Pushloop and one hand Airfunnel gave him a clear 7 : 0 decision by the Judges. There was no chance for strong sailing Browne.

Sara Quita instead kept on winning all her finals. This time against Laure Treboux, who seemed to be back on track. On third Place finished Daida Moreno ahead of Junko Nagoshi and Yoli de Brendt, who had her first bad Heat against Nagoshi and has to fight back in the Double Elimination to recover her podium Place.
