It´s over, five really exciting days, packed with unbelievable high level Freestyle. Also the last day became a still super exciting Elimination. First Place in women and men were clear, with Marcilio Browne and Sara Quita winning the first two Double Eliminations of this Event. The fight for Place 2 to 4 were still open and especially Gollito Estredo was looking forward to finich second and make a huge step towards his second Worldtitle. In the Single Elimination he won already really impressive and unbeatable. First Italian Mattia Pedrani, venezuelan Cheo Diaz and Quincy Offringa could step up the ladder, while strong sailing canadian Soltysiak and german Paskowski lost some places. Most impressive it became when Kiri Thode hit the water for his Heats. With sick Burner and Burner Combinations, Spock Culos and Switch Combos he advanced up against Tonky Frans to fight for place three in this Double Elimination, but Tonky again could move his Freestyle Moves into second floor and with big Shakas, Airchachoo, Pushloop and some Burner and Burner Combinations he kept the chance for second Place, but therefore he needed to beat Marcilio Browne, Browne was on fire but so was Frans, only that this time he couldn´t find enough ramps for his Airmoves and so Brawzinho with his super technical Moves went into his third Double Elimination Final. Also there he managed to sail really strong but again it became a mission impossible for the Brasilian against Gollito Estredo. Estredo just sailed in his own Level, perfect for the spectators, bad for Browne. Estredo won this Double Elimination with Mega Airchachoo, Shaka, Burner, Switch Combos, Mega Airflakas, Tode and Burner Cana Brava, all without getting his feet wet. Only a small theoretical chance for the Worldtitle remains for Brawzinho and Estredo is almost through. The last Freestyle Worldcup at Sylt in Germany will bring the final result. For the women this was the last Event. More than clear winner and Worldchampion is Sara Quita from Aruba, in three Freestyle Competition she hasn´t lost a single Heat !!! Respect and Congratulations !!! Daida Moreno finished third, Laure Treboux third and Yoli de Brendt fourth. As resume I would say that the Level in women Freestyle has made a huge step forward. Not only The Top girls showed great performances, Yoli de Brendt finished second in a Double Elimination first time in her short Worldcup history, swedish Nina Tjernberg showed her great potential, Anna Jonsson suprised quite a lot girls and judges with some really good Heats... Maybe the next years Tour will grow and even more girls will take part.
