Last Day - The wind blows and blows and blows.... still for the smallest sails you can imagine... first the two girls Junko Nagoshi and Laure Treboux had to sail a sail off for the 3rd Place in Ladies Freestyle... Treboux couldn´t really show her Freestyle Skills, fully overpowered on her 3,0... Junko Nagoshi did a little better since she sails pretty often in those conditions and managed to perform nice Spocks and Punetas. So she will be on the podium tonight, next to Sara Quita and Daida Moreno. The Supersession !!! Magic Words for Jump Masters Victor Fernandez and Ricardo Campello, who both made it straight into the final, together with Kauli Seadi and John Skye. All with perfect Double Loops in their Heats. Minutes before the Final the excitement went up, when Campello showed up at the beach with his Helmet and protected Wetsuit on, the sounds of Mission Impossible in the background. He´s on the chase for the Tripple Loop. The Heat started insane, with massive Backloops and dry Double Loops from Campello. Also Fernandez and Seadi landed their Doubles but not as high as Campello´s. But what about the Tripple. Campello couldn´t find enough Flatwater infront of the waves to gain enough Speed. And than, seconds before the end of the Heat, Campello goes full speed right onto one of the biggest Waves... and after two Rotations he went into the third, before he crashed hard.. The crowds went crazy on the beach !!! maybe they´re still screaming... a new chapter in windsurf history and everybody could see, the tripple will be possible and landed one day.... !!! Campello won this supersession and Daida Moreno won the women supersession with a nice Double Loop !!!
